Poly Prep Airstream
A private donor commissioned Standing Cedars to build out a vintage 1965 Airstream Caravel for Poly Prep Country Day School.
The inside was built out in beautiful birch plywood and exceeded the school’s expectations––plenty of storage for school merchandise, wireless power, a custom neon sign, space for a YETI cooler, a cushioned bench, display spaces, with custom decals on the exterior and plenty of extra details. Its design is the perfect mix of old and new, vintage and modern, durable and sleek, much like the school itself. The drawers and cabinets all lock securely when the Airstream is on the road to away games and have plenty of counter space for displays during events at the school’s expansive Brooklyn, New York campuses.
